Message From Our President
Wells of Life President, Nicholas Jordan
In January 2007, I met with my friend Trevor Stevenson, CEO of Fields of Life, at a hotel in Dublin. We met to discuss the expansion of our original idea of the Fields of Life organization drilling wells in East Africa. What resulted from that meeting changed my life and can change yours.
In November 2008 I took the trip I had waited my whole life to take. Trevor Stevenson and I made a whistle stop tour to four countries and visited 11 of the 90 schools that have been built by Fields of Life. There was no preparation that I could do to ready myself for what I encountered in Africa.
My trip to Africa was undertaken to represent you, the generous donors that made these schools and water wells possible. I received smiles and hugs on your behalf.
As President of Wells of Life I strongly encourage you to get involved. Take a moment to envision what is possible when commitment, passion and the desire to change the world come together. No matter what your contribution is, you are making a difference.
Join Trevor and I in our commitment to build 1000 wells in 10 years.
